Alternate Logo Designs

15 Sep

I posted about the logo for Clark Productions, attaching the final logo, but I thought I might throw in the alternate versions of the logo as well. Any logo that uses two words or a phrase, creates a new element to incorporate into the design. This logo needed ‘Clark’ and ‘Productions’ as well, the second word, being much longer and less unique, could be mad smaller, but I did not want it to fall out of the design altogether. Here are a couple of alteranate versions of the final logo.

I like the logo with the random dots. I think it makes the composition strong. The random dots work well with the different variations of color treatment found in the word Clark and works well with the overlapping effect, thus unifying the plain word production with the constructivist look of the word Clark. I am just being my career. I am glad to see another designer using various elements to unify their logo designs.
