Is Paste Going Out of Business?

Save Paste Magazine. Got an email from Paste Magazine that said they needed donations to maintain operations. Unfortunate to say the least since Paste is a great magazine with tons of new music and great design. The site says mostly the same things, with regular ads being replaced by “Save Paste” ads. Going to their main homepage takes you to a save paste ad.
So what’s ahead for Paste Magazine? I just recently renewed my subscription and it seems that I may not actually get any new issues. Not sure if the donate now is legit or not, or are they just trying to raise some money? The subscription fee was $5 when I renewed so it seems like a company in trouble would have asked for more upfront, even though the $5 fee seemed nominal and indicated a largely ad based revenue model.
Not sure what’s up, does anyone else know?
